Conservation and Stewardship

     The Pendeba Society trains Pendebas in environment conservation

     including how to:

• Establish tree nurseries, seedlings production and tree plantations

• Build and use improved smokeless stoves

• Manage garbage and village sanitation by making compost and discouraging use of plastic materials

• Establish mother cooperative

• Use Alternative energy such as solar, bio-gas

• Protect the diverse wildlife of the QNNP

• Utilize seasonal agriculture and agro-forest

• Apply productive and appropriate technology
• Transform traditional sheep corrals into the ones that are more environmentally friendly and endurable 
• Build small flood control dams to mitigate negative impacts of seasonal floods on farmland management
